A Baltimore native, her journey of faith was ignited during her years at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she immersed herself in small group fellowships, prayer, and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.

With more than two decades of professional and ministry experience, Pastor V has become a trusted voice in resiliency, empowerment, and leadership development. Her diverse background spans social work, mental health, education, grassroots organizing, nonprofit leadership, and life coaching. This unique blend of expertise equips her to guide others in healing from trauma, cultivating resilience, and walking boldly in their God-given purpose.
As a Resiliency & Empowerment Life Coach, she inspires people to rise from adversity with strength and faith, equipping them with practical tools and spiritual insight to thrive emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Her mission is clear: to empower others to embrace their story, overcome barriers, and live victoriously.
Pastor V is also an author and visionary, serving as the founder of Aarise Kingdom Ministries and the Aarise & Shine Podcast. Through these initiatives, she provides transformative spaces where women and communities are uplifted, healed, and ignited to fulfill their divine assignments. She passionately declares the message of Isaiah 60:1—*"Arise and Shine"—*reminding others that no matter their past, their future in Christ is victorious.

Apostle Verenda K. Cobbs’ ministry is deeply marked by divine revelation and a life-changing encounter during revival that confirmed her call to the Gospel. She has been licensed as a minister in 2008, ordained as an Elder in 2011, installed as a Pastor in 2014, and publicly affirmed as an Apostle in 2022.

She has faithfully served in multiple leadership roles including Associate Pastor, Executive Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Senior Pastor. These experiences have given her a comprehensive and seasoned understanding of church leadership, ministry development, and community impact.
